Timeline & Deliverables
We propose breaking down Phase I of the project as follows to get things in motion, with a timeline of 2 months.
1. Story and writer selection (1-2 weeks)
We’ll work with you to determine the combination of the right story and the right writer(s).
2. Write the pilot and a season bible (2-4 weeks)
In our writer’s room, we’ll create a 1-hour pilot script along with a ‘bible’ to outline the characters and the first season of the show.
3. Casting (3 weeks, concurrent)
Once we have a pilot script, we’ll be able to begin sourcing the best local talent to bring the characters to life for your proof-of-concept production.
4. Filmed table read (1 day + 1 week for editing)
The cast comes together for a table read of the script, which we’ll film and edit to help you sell the project.
5. Script and budget for a trailer (2 weeks, concurrent)
After the completion of the pilot script and the series bible, we’ll have our writing team design an impactful 1-minute trailer and have our producers create a detailed production budget for filming.
Next Phase
At the conclusion of Phase I, we’ll have a team of writers in place, a great pilot script, a series bible, roles cast, a video cut of the table read, and a trailer ready to shoot. The next step will be finishing the trailer and working with you to create any other materials you need to get stakeholder buy-in for the series.
